I have read on a number of websites and have heard over the years that Amsoil is the gold standard for motor oil. I finally registered for an account and am now using Amsoil Signature 0W-40 in my 2016 Ram 2500 6.4L 4x4. I switched to Amsoil at 500 miles and have just recently changed the oil again at 6000 miles. I have been getting reasonable mileage with my new truck (about 14.5 mpg average), considering I have the 6.4L and it's a 4x4. I recommend that if you plan to use Amsoil, to pay the small amount to become a Preferred Customer (currently $20 per year), because it will pay for itself in the savings per quart of oil (about $12.50 to $8.50 for the 0W-40 Signature Oil). A quick story ... I turned a friend on to Amsoil, he started using 5W-30 Signature in his 2007 Nissan Quest with 60,000 miles. As early as the drive home from my house after changing the oil, his 15 year old son with a learner's permit could feel it running smoother and quieter, and now only one month later, he is already seeing 1-2 mpg increase in fuel economy. He plans to change his oil again at about 5000 miles and will then change it annually.

I purchased the Signature Series 0W-20 oil for my son for his wife's 2013 Subaru Forester for topping up. Subarus with the 2.5 boxer engine seem to use some oil in general. They live far enough away that I can't help with oil changes, but they have two Subarus and they keep oil in the vehicles for top-up's especially on long trips.

Use this in my wifes Ford Explorer 4x4. It's got over a 100,000 on it and never had a problem and it run's like a top.

I've been using AMSOIL products for 3 years now, started with engine oil and have also explored brake fluid, gas additive, grease, tranny fluid and gear oil. I began with the XL line of products then moved to the signature series and know that is all that I use. I would recommend AMSOIL products to anyone.

Great product because of the extended drain intervals that can sometimes go beyond their 25k recommendation. Just be sure to have an oil analysis done once in a while.

I have been using AMSOIL for 19 years now and wouldn't use anything but. I use this new 0w40 in my 2015 Challenger SRT 392. And have been using it now over the 5w30 in my old 2004 Ram 5.7 HEMI that has 193,000 miles on it all with AMSOIL. The truck is running totally on AMSOIL products bumper to bumper. The challenger soon will also be covered with AMSOIL, But for now, just the engine. My motor home, Jeep, and two KTM dirt bikes as all run with AMSOIL. AMSOIL just can't be beat. And all of their products can be trusted to have what you drive running at its best. Thanks AMSOIL

First and best synthetic moter oil. I keep my vehicles past 90,000 miles so I need a oil that will make them last.

Best oil and value imho.

I've been using amsoil since 1973, and have not had a single car have any mechanical failure. About 1 million miles with a motor home, two trailers and a dozen automobiles.

Engine protection unmatches?, extended oil changes and it Amsoil!!

We switched over to Amsoil at around 12k on our 2016 Corolla. We were able to see better fuel economy right away, with 2-3 miles per gallon.

I used this in my 1998 jeep Cherokee 4.0 and gained 3 pounds of oil pressure over a competitors high mileage 10w-30 overall I would highly recommend. But next time I will use the premium protection 10w-40 because the older jeep engines do have flat tappet camshafts and like extra zinc. I just bought a 1989 jeep Comanche with a renix 4.0 that had a wiped cam because lack of quality oil (not enough zinc) and I'm replacing an engine in a 1997 Jeep Wrangler 2.5 for a friend of the family because of the same reason. Great oil!!!

Have used AMSOIL sysnthetics for years. Have had new Tahoes and Buick Enclaves into shops and entire fluids changed to AMSOIL.

Used it for years

After I bought this car, I put in its first fill of Amsoil SS at 3,000 miles to get rid of the "dinosaur juice". Now after 230,000 miles, it will still get nothing but SS for its NEXT 230,000 miles. It runs PERFECTLY!
