It is expensive, but to only worry about changing oil and filter every 25k miles is worth it in convenience. We have a Mustang with 170k miles, a Ford 500 with 130K miles, and an F-250 with 98k miles. The only problem with the pickup is that it uses a quart and a half between oil changes, so that increases the cost.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I have been using Amsoil signature series 5w-30 synthetic oil about 3 years and am very happy with it. I change my oil just once a year now compared to 2-3 times in the past. My engine runs great and in the long run it costs me less, no engine repairs or tune-ups other than normal maintenance. This is great considering I tow a 20 ft boat and put on at least a thousand miles a year just towing. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.
Bought a 2013 Tacoma brand new. First thing I did was drain the fluids and replaced everything with amsoil product. Dealer techs thought I was crazy because they offer 2 years free oil changes, I think they are crazy for try to put another oil in my pickup. Love this stuff and only need to change once a year.
i have use amsoil for the last 20 years had a 7.3 d for 15yrs. had 360.000 miles on it when i sold it and not one oil problem with it . your oils gave me better all around performance and i still use it in all my vehicles to this day.

Improved gas mileage

I have used this oil in my 2008 Toyota Prius since November 2015. There was a noticeable improvement in gas mileage. I consistently get 52 to 54 MPG. My Prius has 183.000 miles and it runs better than new. It does have higher oil consumption than when I used petroleum based oil, but it hasn't impacted the performance. It should help the engine last a long time.
Our 1999 Odyssey wouldn't start after our son pulled off the highway to tighten down the tarp on the trailer he was towing. By the time the tow truck driver got there, it did start. The driver said he would follow for a time to insure the van kept going before he went on. The engine temperature immediately jumped into the red zone. An inspection showed that the rusted hose clamp at the bottom of the radiator had given up--there was nothing in the cooling system! After a tow to the shop, with the addition of a new clamp and coolant, the vehicle started. 1300 miles later, we heard about this from or second son and our mechanic checked for codes. The sensor had recorded 395F at the time of this incident! I immediately replaced the crank oil for 5 new quarts of Signature Series 5W-30. The old stuff, which only had a few thousand miles on it, smelled just slightly burned. Our mechanic said he would typically expect the engine to be toast, with vital components even melted! Yet, although we don't know the actual condition of the rings, pistons and cylinder walls, the car is running well, with no misses or apparent loss of power. The only reason we can all think of for survival of the engine is the Amsoil, with its superior cooling qualities. It gets the credit for the fact that the engine is still running at all!
Like title says! They do! I buy this stuff by the gallon case. We have 4 newer Hondas that use 0w20. I still change oil every 5000 miles. Honda and Amsoil say you can longer but my OCD won't let me go past 5000!!!!
I use the 5W30 in 2 of my cars, 1 Chevy truck, and 2 Street Rods. In fact I use Amsoil in everything from my air compressors to my boats. Never thought of using any oil but Amsoil since the mid 70's. I'm a walking advertisement for Amsoil... great oil, in fact I just turned 325,000 miles on my motorcycle, if that isn't proof of Amsoil then I don't know what is!
2002 Ford Ranger, 598,898 original miles. V6. Amsoil Filter and Oil. Still running strong. Dirt bikes, tractor, and 3 other vehicles,......I never used an "additive".....only fluids going in my vehicles are AMSOIL!!!!!!
I have used most of the major brands of synthetic oils out there in my pickups, cars and motorcycle, both gas and diesels . The increased oil change intervals alone make Amzoil signature series oils worth it. Just gage the oil changes using the on board computers and you will see the difference . Every other premium synthetic lasted approximately 6,000 to 7,000 miles going down to 5% life left. Amsoil goes over 10,000 miles on every oil change at 10% life left. defiantly a superior oil.
I use amsoil in everything I own bikes quads vehicles ect. I use this in my 2012 Silverado trucks seams to preform better with this rather than the mobile one I was using before

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I have used this oil for several years with very satisfactory results. The only drawback is that it is priced in American dollars and starts to become expensive when the exchange rate widens.
From it first oil change I have used Amsoil 5w20 and to this day runs like new. In fact all my engine run in Amsoil products. Very happy with the performance and durability it keeps giving.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This is the Staple in any engines life! Have been using this Amsoil product for 16 years now in many different vehicles. Use Amsoil products in all my equipment, SUV's, cars, lawn tractors and mowers, from the motor oil to the transmission fluid to gear lube/differential. Never have to worry about or even think about if you have the best protection possible. Engines run very clean, smoother, quieter, and noticeably better fuel mileage. Outstanding performance!!!!

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Amsoil is superior.

A number of years ago I learned that synthetic oil was superior to conventional oil. Shortly thereafter I tried amsoil and discovered that amsoil was superior to other synthetic oils. This became evident when I started traveling on 2250 mile trips on a fairly regular basis. Other synthetics needed a quart on the trip. Amsoil, none. I researched the issue and a competitor alleged that the difference was based upon Amsoil's use of too much of a certain additive and that that additive would ruin a catalytic converter. I have put over 150,000 miles on three different vehicles and none ever needed a catalytic converter or oxygen sensor.
I've used Amsoil products now for about twelve years. After a year, the drain oil is not much darker than it was when it went in. I put about 1000 miles per month on my truck (2014 Xterra). Previously, I drove a 2001 4Runner similar miles.
