I switched my truck at 165k. The first oil change I burnt through 3 qts (out of 8qts). AMSOIL explained the high level of detergents we’re cleaning my engine. Mind this truck NEVER burns oil, ever. The next oil change 15k later the oil consumption stopped. I wanted AMSOIL for the convenience of 15k change interval. What I happily found was my mpg went up 1.5 mpg, from 15.5 highway to 17mpg. Pulling our trailers mpg went up .5mpg but I haven’t pull extended highway miles yet just 1hr to 2hr jaunts. This past winter the truck sat out in -45F over night multiple nights and fired up right away …. My old synthetic required extended cranking but always started on first try. With AMSOIL it’s instantaneous. We have 4 cars/trucks …. They’re all going 100% AMSOIL. I’m a believer.

Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I’ve been using this oil for my vehicles for the peace of mind, knowing that the engine is protected far beyond OEM requirements.
My 2004 Ford Expedition 4.6 V8 has 214,000 miles and runs like new as I only use Amsoil. My last 1998 Expedition also had over 200k miles before this one. I would consider this oil free since my gas mileage is increased and I can drive my autos as long as I want. My friends Volvo turbo bearings were rattling and I put about a half of quart of my Amsoil in it and the turbo bearing quit rattling.
No oil can compare to Amsoil. I don't cheap out when it comes to what I put in my Lexus. Everything runs so smooth, and feel great knowing my engine is protected using Amsoil. Price is worth, the quality and protection.
Since I switched from Mobil 1 to Amsoil I have noticed that my vehicles run smoother and quieter. It has to be because of the superior oil adherence and lubricity.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Awesome product. Switched my Vette to Amsoil after watching my buddy race his for 2 years without any issues. Superior protection, runs smoother and cooler. Looks cleaner than Mobil 1 after 5k miles. So impressed I switched both my Colorado 4x4 and the Traverse AWD HighCountry to Amsoil.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Been using Amsoil now since 1997. In Everything We Own. It is getting to the Point now that Some other Brands are going to be getting poured into our Vehicles Due Simply to AMSOIL’S PRICING Strategy which is running me and my Customers Elsewhere. This is Quite discouraging because I really like the product. But at $12/13 PER QUART, It’s not cost effective for me to continue down this Path when there are some other Full Synthetic Oils out there that have proven themselves quite worthy at 1/2 the Price. That said. Amsoil is a Great Product and a fantastic lubricant!!! No other complaints from here. Just the Price. It’s outta control!!! Thanks SLEEPY JOE!
I wanted the absolute best motor oil for my 2018 Toyota Tundra & 2021 Toyota Tacoma so I looked no further than Amsoil! I like using Amsoil because I’m giving my car the best protection available. You can hear the engine purring and everything sounds so smooth running Amsoil. I run Amsoil on all my vehicles. It gives me peace of mind knowing I’m using the best oil out there! I highly recommend all Amsoil products for whatever you may drive!
This oil is the best in my opinion. The last bottles I got had a older label on the back. I guess they ran out of newer labels. It didn't say it met my trucks latest requirements, but I'm sure it being Amsoil it did.
Some years ago when I worked at Ford in Engineering I had the opportunity to meet a Sales Engineer from Shell oil.
I asked him about this new fangled synthetic motor oil.
He told me "Ed, its the greatest thing since canned corn". He also told me that at the time Shell didn't even have a product on the market.
He also said that because it doesn't break down all you needed to due at oil change time is only change the oil filter and add a quart. You don't need to drain the pan. (Not that I've ever done this).
Living in the Florida heat with an 86 Corvette an 83 El Camino and 2012 Cadillac which are all high mileage I use the 5W-50 because I'm sure by now there is a lot of clearance in the rod and main bearings.
Good stuff.

Bought for my new used Honda CIvic with 60K miles. Oil life is at 70% now. Bought this in advance for my next oil change. Waiting for the Amsoil oil filters to come back in stock. In the meantime, the product was delivered immediately. Can't wait to try it. My son swears by Amsoil.
After people commenting how much quieter and better running their engines seem using this compared to other premium brands I thought I would give it a try. Put it in my 2021 Tundra and didn't notice engine or drivetrain or anything smoother or quieter than what was already in there(a major oil company synthetic). I am sure it is doing an excellent job lubricating but I notice no difference in how engine feels or behaves at startup, accelerating or anything. I generally change my oil at 5000 miles so SS certainly overkill but wanted to see if the hype was real. Also I don't understand why this doesn't carry an API License - I'm sure it meets the spec but why not Licensed? Won't buy this product again but may look at the API Licensed oil that you sell.
