I installed 5-30 Sig in my Tahoe last May. Through this May I completed 10,000 miles including through a winter here in Northern Michigan. The shop I use was touting another oil and warned me that no oil could be used all winter in multiple cold or very cold start conditions and last through the whole winter. Well, I had the oil tested after a year and even in this harsh environment, the oil still had 3,000 to 5,000 miles of life left. Kudos to the product. Yes the Tahoe does use some oil--maybe 3 quarts total over that period, but it did amaze me that the oil held up and was still good after a year. Fuel economy on a road trip to Rochester, MN with a change of trans fluid to Amsoil synthetic showed an increase in mileage from about 19 to a solid 21-22 MPG. Fluids are the only change and this vehicle is otherwise a gas hog.
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I have used this product for over 20 years. I have actually torn down an engine (oil pump shaft broke) that I used this oil in close to its whole life and the internals of the engine were remarkable. They showed very little wear and tear and none of the typical deposits you would see in an engine with 135,000 miles on. I know there is a lot of churn about who's best and so on but speaking for this oil it's worth every penny. Your buying peace of mind.
Since I start using Amsoil signature zero 20 100% synthetic oil on my truck start ups Are much quicker and Engine runs more smoother and more power. My gas mileage has improved significantly
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

This Product saves money. It gives you great protection for your engine over a longer period of time, so you do not have to change it as often. When used with the Amsoil Ea Oil filter, it does even a better job. So in the long run it is more economical to use.
As I have gotten older I like how I now only have to change the oil only once a year. I take care of 6 cars (mine and my kids) so this really helps me do other things besides changing oil.
We love the oil , filters and grease. Currently we have just over 411,000 miles on our 2004 Honda Element. Thanks for providing such a high quality lubricant.
Great for my new air-cooled Generac 11kW automatic backup generator. It was consuming another well-known brand of synthetic 5w-30EP oil at an unacceptably excessive rate. After researching the various oil properties and what others with air-cooled generators down in hurricane country use, I decided to try Amsoil 5w-50. After switching my oil consumption completely stopped. I use it or Amsoil 0W-40 in all my small engines now.
We have used Amsoil products in all of our vehicles for the past 8 years. The engine in our 2010 Equinox is still running strong with 155,000 Amsoil miles. We have used the Signature Series 5W-30 for the past 75 of so and even with the high mileage we lose almost no oil between changes. We do change at about 12K to 15K though due to the heat in the summers of central Virginia.

I use this in all for vehicles I own for the last 20 years. My V10 Motor Home, my Hemi SUV, my V-6 convertible beach cruiser and my classic convertible street rod. Extremely versatile and has never let me down.
I've been using amsoil 35 years, I believe it's what gave me 450000 miles on on a 77 Porsche. Today I used it in my 18 Kia soul turbo and 16 Kia turbo koup, read the specs it's the best oil for any application.

My engine has 245,000 miles on it, (second engine in the car) and I have used Amsoil for about 2 years. I recently had an oil analysis by Blackstone Labs, and they told me that the wear I had represented about 5,800 miles, but I had actually 22,600 miles on that oil change!! I could have run until 25,000 miles, so next time I will.
