  The extreme pressure and high heat common to brake systems can push brake fluid beyond its boiling point, causing it to vaporize or "boil-off." Water contamination can accelerate the process. This leads to a spongy or unresponsive feeling in the brake pedal (vapor lock). In contrast, the unique chemistry behind AMSOIL synthetic brake fluids increases boiling points well beyond DOT standards, even when contaminated with 3.7 percent water. AMSOIL Brake Fluids maintain a stable viscosity over a wide temperature range and flow easily at the high pressures generated in today's automotive brake systems to deliver solid, reliable braking.   Ultra-High Boiling Points

  *Dry equilibrium reflux boiling point (ERBP) the boiling point of new, freshly opened brake fluid.

  **Wet ERBP the boiling point of brake fluid having absorbed 3.7 percent water. Only 3.7 percent water contamination is often sufficient to reduce a DOT 3 fluid's boiling point below the DOT minimum.

  APPLICATIONS

    I flushed the brakes on my 23' Road Glide with the Amsoil Dot 4 Brake Fluid and it appeared to be of a very high quality. Very responsive company that backs and supports their products. that is why I have this brand as all the fluids in my bike . Its hard to provide much more comment since this is the first change of the brake fluid. I will provide more comment at next change.

    I race a Formula 2000 race car. I searched extensively for an upgrade in brake fluid that was o made by a company I could trust o had high lubricity, high dry & wet boiling points o didn't break the bank This brake fluid checked all those boxes. Excellent product for a reasonable price.

    Been using this product since 2014 both for daily driving and HPDE events. Never had brake fade, but always flush with fresh brake fluid before track event.
