The Ea Bypass Oil Filter (EaBP) provides the best possible filtration protection against wear and oil degradation. Working in conjunction with the engine's full-flow oil filter, the AMSOIL Bypass Filter operates by filtering oil on a 'partial-flow' basis. It draws approximately 10 percent of the oil pump's capacity at any one time and traps the extremely small, wear-causing contaminants that full-flow filters can't remove. The AMSOIL Bypass Filter typically filters all the oil in the system several times an hour, so the engine continuously receives analytically clean oil.

Worth Every PennyBy BEAU, a Verified Buyer from Colorado on November 11, 2024I installed a bypass filter on my 150 HP generator that I use for running a pivot sprinkler and water pump, historically I would have to change the oil (AMSOIL 15W-40) every 250 hours I had run on it; per the oil analysis (Blackstone). for the second year in a row where I exceeded 600 hours on the oil and the analysis has recommended I go another 70-100 hours before checking it again or changing the oil because it looked so good. This filter does only have a 1 year warranty, so I will be changing it at least once a year but it has paid for itself in the first two years and then some.Bottom LineYes, I would recommend this to a friend.Was this review helpful?
