It does reduce wear but..By JOSEPH, a Verified Buyer from CNY on June 25, 2025The bar oil seems to reduce wear. You have to make sure you grease sprockets. Weather? I'm glad again that Amsoil chain oil is perfect at all weather. Liquid enough in freezing temperature and sticky and elastic under hot condition when cutting hard wood.
