I have a '24 Softail Heritage 114 and did the 1,000 fluid change in all three compartments. I noticed smoother shifts and neutral was easier to find.

This review reflects usage on a 2023 Harley Davidson Street Glide. I am aware that the “clunking” in the transmission is the nature of the beast on these things. But wow, talk about loud! Despite having just had the dealer change everything for the 1,000 mile service, I was changing the primary fluid again to address clutch issues. While I had the bike on the lift, I went ahead and drained the new OEM fluid out of the transmission and replaced it with Amsoil Synthetic V-Twin Transmission Fluid.
The first ride told the story! The transmission shifts much smoother and the noise level has been greatly reduced. A Harley transmission is never going to be “quiet,” but the ultra-loud clunking and banging is gone. It’s only Amsoil in this bike from here on out!
