When I bought my used harley limited, I put 2k miles on it (no oil use at all) I changed the oil and used mobile 1 synthetic, after a week of driving locally, I then drove it about 300 miles rt, when I got home I noticed a funny noise from the motor, I was under 13lbs of oil pressure. Checked the oil and, nothing on the stick. Topped it off 2+ quarts, and the oil was really dirty. Changed the oil again, using amsoil and it sounds better and 4k later, no oil use, and clean oil. I'm sold!
