This works fantastic on bare metal or over painted metal that is not rusted yet, but do not put it over metal that is already rusted. There are better products for that.

Great protection for metal underbody. Appears to stick well. Do not spray on engine as it has brown tint to it ...

Great product. Perfect combination of oil and wax. Nozzle stem is not a universal fit for all chassis spray hoses but careful study and an exacto knife may make for a usable fit.

Just sprayed it on. I will gladly give you a full review in about 4 months and let you know how it worked out.

This is a great product I have used for years. Recently the cans have changed to a rounded top and the spray tips are not as deep for inserting the straws and they keep slipping out if you touch anything with the straw. It gets pretty messy. Without the straw they spray great. The straw really helps getting into small areas. Great product though!

Excellent product, medium liquid that penetrates nooks and crannies. Can spray right on rusted metal and it adheres nicely. Dry time is important, best to let sit for 48 hours depending on temperature and humidity. Drys to an excellent coating, does not wash off. Will probably need to recoat at some point depending on abuse.

I have used AMSOIL products since the early 1970s after being introduced to them by my neighbor. I have found that the MP Metal Protector is the go-to product not only to lubricate difficult nuts and bolts and auto parts but also to keep them working long after. Unlike other similarly advertised products, MP adds a long-lasting thin film over the metal parts to keep moisture out and allow for the parts to move properly. I have used it to loosen pistons on a seized engine to lubricating door locks and padlocks during the winter. One must give it enough time to penetrate, and then it will perform its magic. While I may use other synthetic oil brands for the crankcase, I would not like to be without the MP.

This stuff really works. Used on engine, fire pit, wheels, about everything I don't want to paint. So far it has stop even surface rust from forming. Gonna try it on headers, that will be the ultimate test. Stay tuned for an update.

I recently used this product on a ground for my boat trailer. Why there is a frame mounted ground on a boat trailer is beyond me. I coated the ground heavily before immediately using the boat in saltwater and so far it seems to be doing the trick well. I am eventually going to rewire the trailer but for the time being this product seems like it will hold me over.

Keeps all moving parts lubricated

So far all I've used it on was a squeaky lawn mower wheel. Acouple shots and no more noise!

Amsoil metal protector works exactly as described. It covers well and stays a long time. I use it on everything don’t hesitate to buy it.

Excellent product highly recommend dries to the touch, only negative is that the spray top is poorly design and will not hold the red spray straw will keep coming out

I use this for undercoat on my truck. It dries quickly and works much better then other products that are actually advertised as undercoat. It doesn’t attract dirt. Other undercoating products do not dry, drip and need to be reapplied more frequently then MPHD.

Great product, seems to be working well, sprayed the entire chassis for salt protection and haven't seen any failing yet.

My son told me about this stuff, great product. Ordered a case of 12 large cans to spray the under body, frame, steering, suspension, on my new 2023 Jeep Gladiator, sprayed everything except brakes & exhaust. Using the supplied straw kept overspray to a minimum. Wore safety glasses & a N95 breathing mask made by 3M which both worked good. Truck stayed in my heated shop for 36 hrs after spraying to make sure it was completely dry. The mess it made on the cement floor was super easy to clean up with just regular mineral spirits. Plenty of videos on U-tube that go more in depth but I highly recommend this product. Duane.

One can did the majority of what I wanted to coat on my 2016 Silverado. Seems to do it’s job and I can see how with the wax type film.
